August 16-20 was a perfect week for hiking a 25 mile loop in the High Uintahs.
the Bambrough family (Bryan, Marilyn, Angie and Telisha) and the Langfords (Bob and Miriam) packed up the goats and went on a grand 4 night 5 day adventure to some beautiful high mountain country. We hiked from the trail head to Naturalist Basin where our goats decided that was far enough. The next day we took a side trip to Blue lake then loaded up the goats and headed off to Carolyn Lake. Day three took us to Governor Durn Lake and day four we enjoyed at Wilder Lake. Dinner was caught on a fly and the stars were spectacular!
Special thanks to High Uintah Pack Goats and our new friends Kiko, Black Jack, Oreo, Cooper, Orion and Mask. They carried our stuff, and as their owner would say, became our hiking companions. Sorry for the saddle sores and thanks for the memories. Please click on the link for a picture album of the great hike.
